Sheared Japanese Maple pruned by hand to reverse the pruning style. Shearing and Japanese Maple DON’T MIX!!! Every leaf is stuck into the crown of the first picture= very bad for snow damage and will need to be pulled out before the next leaves arrive or they will rot in place= area for fungus/disease to get into the tree. After pruning shows a clean crown, where each branch has the ability to move freely. The last picture is from the middle summer= nice open airy healthy tree. Notice the shadow on the ground= Very Cool!
